Hello fellow blob user ! Honestly I didn't get how to finish the game. I tried to download just in case, but my screen isn't really regular and UI weren't responsive so I couldn't click. But so far, I liked how you added all those little utilitary things, like a continue and the music controller ! The art was really pleasant too. And you have one of the best physic for a 2d plateformer of the game jam games I tried so far. But you can still improve it, I know you know. So keep on it !
I have some UI issue that I know of, but everything should work by not using mouse at all, so just Space, Enter and arrow keys to navigate, even the dialogue and all....
To see how I can make it more friendly to all, would you please tell me where you got stuck? :)
As you know I know, I know I can improve. Still searching for the best way though.
Going there felt like I was cheating jumping on the first enemy, so I'm not sure if I should be there. I didn't realise I could skip the first panel with space sorry x)
So yeah, here you are standing on a weird platform right? Speaking with a NPC should hint you that you need to get heavier to break this kind of tiles. To get heavier you need more children and absorb them. To get more children, you need to find a "Birth statue", often hints by some peculiar plants.
All those infos are hinted by a NPC, but maybe they were not enough :)
No the tricky part is that I wasn't (and I'm still not really sure), of how reproduce at the statue. So I thought I was mistaken and just tried to proceed. But maybe I always tried after lose a children and I was hard lock?
Down arrow or S to make more children at the statue :)
It is a hardlock to force you to get a good amount of children, but only one hit should not block you... are you sure you made the max children possible?

Thank for the review fellow slime controller!

Haha not at all.

Pretty neat! I like the animation style and the "personality" that the world seems to have. Also, any game that involves blobs has my attention :P
Thank you !
I see you are a man of culture as well! ;)
I added more stuff to complete the world, tell me your thoughts about it!
